Hello,
We've recently upgrade to Office 2007. In word 2003 we used a feature to track changes. Word 2003 allowed us to set the default view for a document as the final view. I cannot find how to do the same in Word 2007. Here is the problem.
Word 2007 defaults the review pane to "Final Showing Markup". We want that to be "Final". (We want to track changes, but we want to be able to have the default view when these documents open as "Final")
The reason for this is that we batch .PDF these documents. When we do so, Word opens the document (currently showing the tracked changes) and then .pdf's it. Unfortunately these cannot go out with the tracked changes.
Word 2003 worked fine with this, allowing us to track our changes interanally, but always having the default view as the final. Batch .pdf'ing was fine.
Thanks in advance for any help. We know we can individually open each file and .pdf it, but that is very time consuming.
