Recently, we have had a influx of annoying calls into our environment. Was informed that there is no way to block incoming calls into the Telephone Systems and the appropiate actions listed below should be followed to assist Victims of this harassment. Please advise if you have any ideas how to address this issue. Thanks!

Steps to Report Nuisance Calls

1. Victim must initiate complaint with Security to investigate by calling 123-456--7891
o If deemed necessary, Security serves as liaison for Local Law Enforcement assisting with formal complaint
2. Victim can open case with Verizon Unlawful Call Center @ 1-800-# with Police Complaint ID
o Unlawful Call Center Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.
3. Once the Verizon UCC has successfully traced the calls, the information of the originating calls will be sent to the Local Law Enforcement whom will take appropriate measures to address the issue

You can program and configure Malicious Call Trace. It will give you details on the call.

Feature description
Malicious Call Trace (MCT) allows users of selected telephones to activate a call trace that
results in a printed report of the calling and called parties. The report is generated on all system
TTYs designated as maintenance (MTC) terminals.
Malicious Call Trace (MCT) is activated either by Dial Access from single-line (analog
(500/2500-type) telephones) and Meridian digital telephones (Meridian 1 proprietary
telephones), or by key access from Meridian digital telephones and attendant consoles.
If the initiator hears overflow tone, the call trace has failed for one of the following reasons:
• The station does not have Malicious Call Trace Allowed (MCTA) Class of Service (CLS)
• The station is not established on an active call, or
• The system could not allocate a print register to store the trace information.
An attendant can activate Malicious Call Trace (MCT) only from an attendant console by using
the Trace (TRC) feature key. When the Trace (TRC) key is pressed, the system prints a trace
report on the source party, the destination party, or both, depending on whether the source
key, the destination key, or both keys are active.
The MCT record identifies the source or destination (or both) by printing S or D (or both) prior
to the time and date stamp of the record.

You can log all the call with CS1000 using one of the tty connected to the pri cabinet. I doing it for long time and even I configure my script when someone diall 911, i receive an email saying who called, when, how long...

As far you are saying to block a number : I do not know if it is possible in CS1000 but you can contact your provider to block that number.

Good luck.
