I'm still new to the Definity and I'm not a telecom guy but a network guy typically. That being said I have what might be a stupid question that I don't know how to answer.

I have 3 analog boards in my 8300. 003V4, 003V2 and 002V2. Each board has 8 ports on it. I'm trying to figure out where the ports that are defined on each board is being users.

I did a list config all and can see that there are the 3 boards and I can see the some are defined with 1 2 p p p 6 7 8, etc. I'm assuming the p's are open ports that aren't defined anywhere. The ports 1, 2, 6, 7 & 8 are defined as being in use somewhere.

I did a list station sorted on by port. I found a bunch of things this way. I then did a list trunk and found that 3 or 4 pots lines were there for backup.

I still have a few ports that appear to be defined, but I have no idea what they are being used for or where they are. Any one have any ideas how to track these down?

Any guidenance is greatly appreciated.

Do a Display Port 003V4XX, that will tell you which station is programmed onto that port.

You are a MADDOG!!! Guess Who?

Small World, huh?
