Hello,
I am new to Adobe Illustrator (Illustrator CS). I have Illustrator, Photoshop, GoLive etc. What I would like to do is to convert a lot of roughly not good looking cartoons that I drew by hand to illustrator to make them more professional looking. When scan in a cartoon and try to use the brush tool to trace it then the result is not very accurate, because of lack of practice. I know the pen tool is very accurate for following lines to cut out objects so if the pen tool could be used to follow the lines then that may work very well but I don't know if it can be used for that? Any suggestions or pointers to tutorials, Books, CDs, would be very helpful.

Thank you very much.

Thank you very much for the great help. I just have to go through the tutorials now and then I should be able to do what I want.
