What does it mean when you run tracert and the last hop gets hit multiple times? For example, if I tracert to anything.com, it will go to the end, but instead of stopping when it gets to anything.com, it will show anything.com anywhere from two extra times to twenty extra times. They are all the same IP's, it just gets hit a random amount of times before completing the route. This happens for just about any URL or IP given. Also, sometimes you can run it, and it will work as you would expect and complete when it gets to the destination. Then other times you can run it, and it will show these redundant hops. Any ideas on what to do to resolve this?
