I'm in the middle of debugging an issue on an SV9300. When you dial zero (0), it's forwarded to an virtual extension, which is monitored by an external, 3rd party server through OAI functionality. This server then in turn, "does something" to route the call to a phone which is sitting next to the Operator's computer. The Operator computer has a client app that allows to route calls. So this whole setup has some flaw whereby in rare occasions you dial 0, and the operator doesn't get the call on the computer.

We have looked at the logs on the 3rd party server, to no avail.

Error logs on the SV9300 show no output that may have anything to do with the problem.

I want to turn on the "Trace Information" on the SV9300 in the hopes that it will log something about the activity of the phone system and potentially show us what's going on. So my questions are:

a) How do you turn this on? I know in PC PRO you can go to "Command" pane on the bottom left corner, select Trace Information and then start capture into a file, but I get nothing. The specified file contains nothing.

b) Once I turn this on, what kind of informaiton will I be able to see?

c) Any idea in general on the above issue?

I managed to enable the output of these Trace logs and saving them into a file. But it's all just a bunch of hex codes. Is there documentation on decyphering all this?
