Hello,
I have started to work with MD 110, ericcson extension manager v.12.2.
I am trying to find the way to do a trace extension. In Cisco is with the d.n.a analyzer. Is there any option in the Extension manager?

STISR; is set at a higher level than you are logged on. Log on the Md110 at a higher level.

I have checked the authorithy class that I have and it is 5, but I don't know how change it. or maybe you can send me any manual, It is very important to make a trace for me. thanks in advance.
 

You will need to have the level 6 or 7 password to do that

IOCAP:COM=STISR;

will tell you what level you need to be able to use that command

Security - ask your maintainer or Aastra for level 5 or 6 or 7. If not you need to rebuild your system :/

I have hihger level access and I have done the trace. But I don't understand this trace. The problem is that the user says that the extension is really ringing to somewhere else. This is the reason why I made the trace.

Could you please explaint me if the call is redirect to another phone? I have tried to find any information about it but I have not found it. Any information where can I find information will be appreciate.

These traces can only be read by qualified personel.
You can ask your maintainer to read the trace but even then this is not obvious.
Maybe you can explain what the problem really is so that we can offer a better solution.

please provide more details about the call case. (something like: external party A call extension B but extension B is not ringing).

from what I can see (at a glance) is that you are making an outgoing call with an analog extension via DPNSS route.

Is this correct?

when you say the user states extension is ringing to somewhere else is that on an inbound call to that extension number?

If so check he's not got a diversion on and that that extension number is his actual ODN and that it's not got MDN presentation elsewhere.

Alternativly do a physical trace from Equ to floor to find out where the extension actually goes too?
