Hi!
TS-ODBC v4 was not a stable version. The v3.1 was better. SV has recently released v5 of the TS-ODBC. I would suggest you send an e-mail to SV asking them to confirm that v5 would resolve your problems before you buy the upgrade.
A snippet I had saved on my computer from somewhere (if you can make sense of it)

For anyone who discovers this problem later, the solution is as follows:
Regedit, browse to the database key as instructed in the previous pdf.
Beneath database, create the following key:
Querybuilder
Beneath Querybuilder, create two keys:
JoinBuilder
OuterJoinEscSeq
Within JoinBuilder, create the following string value: LotusNotesJoinBuilder and set it equal to your odbc driver which would be C4otrx (assuming you are using Topspeed 4.0. If not, change as appropriate.)
Within OuterJoinEsqSec add the string MSOuterJoinEscSeq and set it equal to your odbc driver, same as above.
Yes, I know this makes no sense, but it does work. It surprised tech support on this, too, and they're the ones who suggested it! There should be a new Knowledge Base article written especially on account of this problem. Judging from the forums, it's very obscure and few people deal with it.
