TP 7.0 Configuration Question

Because of some legacy code that I don't have time to rewrite, I've installed TP 7.0 on my Dell Win/XP machine. Seems to work just fine with but one exception: the configuration is all confused.

Didn't go looking for my original disks (I have them somewhere in a box 'for safe keeping' ...) and, instead, copied the entire directory structure from my old, tired machine to my new Dell. However, on the old machine it was on D: drive, now it's on C: drive ... and every time I try to execute/compile/debug, it halts since there is no D: drive and it can't find anything.

Is there a config file hidden somewhere or do I need to dig up my original TP 7.0 diskettes and install from there?

Thanks in advance.

Tom

Tom,

I use Borland Pascal. It saves a configuration file called [tt]bp.dsk[/tt] -try looking for a [tt]tp.dsk[/tt] file and try to move that away from your TP directory.

This *may* do the trick c",)

Good Luck

Jakob:

Thanks for the input. I'll have a look tonight when I get home and see what I can find.

Appreciate it!
