I want to make a small formal statement saying something like on the 5th of June 2001 pulling information from my date field which is in the format YYYYMMDD. Anybody know how to do this?

Crystal Version 7.0
Connecting via ODBC to a SqlAnywhere DB.

The data type of the field would be one of these:

Character
Numeric
Date
DateTime

right click on the field and select "Browse Field Data" to see the data type as read by Crystal. Ken Hamady

If you right click on the field and select "Foramt Field" you should have all of the options that you need to format as you want on the DATE tab. Ken Hamady
