Has anyone experienced the issue of trying to edit an image from a PDF (usually clients who didn't color-correct photos) in Photoshop with the finished image placing to the right hand lower corner of the PDF rather than back where original spot?

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks,
Donna

I'v had the same thing happen doing image touchups from Acrobat 7. Funny thing is I dont remember it being a problem in older versions of acrobat. I dont need to do it very often but when I do need to edit them I write down the XY that Pitstop says the image its at before I edit it and then put it back into its place with Pitstop. Pitstop is absolutely brilliant and I dont know what I would do without it! Truly an essential plugin for Acrobat for me anyways, very powerful and worth every penny for the stuff that I do on a daily basis.

Thanks, Dropkick

We do have Pitstop on one station - but what I tried yesterday was an on and off thing with the displacement - one time it would move out of place, close the document without saving, reopen and try again and worked fine. Tried with other PDFs after that and didn't get the issue.

I don't think they'll spend more money for Pitstop on other work stations - really only affects us when provided by outside clients. Our stuff we can obviously edit.

Sad, since Pro was supposed to replace In Production and it worked fine. Now we need Pitstop.

I'll see if we figure out what the bug is and report back.

...this issue happened with Acrobat Pro 7 and Photoshop CS2, Adobe eventually released an update to Photoshop CS2 9.02 as the issue is with Photoshop and not Acrobat. If you haven't updated Photoshop then try the links below, if you have then Adobe will need to update Photoshop again to support Acrobat 8 Pro...
