I replaced my worn out javelin wedge with one from ebay, swapped out the hard drives & saw touchscreens were differant (4,5,8 wire) upon assembly, Replacement terminal booted up fine, windows running, aloha screen saving working but dont have touchscreen ability tried bios settings, monitor settings, calibrating screen, still touchscreen inop. Any sugestions?
PS. Called my area ahola help desk paid $95 & was told that terminal was to old & they refused to service it "it needed tobe replaced no exceptions" Squeezing me to buy a new terminal. which is not an option I'm working on a negative zero budget.

Instead of spending money on a terminal from Ebay, why did you not send the unit to the company that owns the Javelin product for repair?

I have two thousand Javelin Wedge terminals I bought two years ago, and their service and support is excellent.

You have the wrong driver for it on the original HDD. Search the web for the drivers and install them through Windows.
