The following procedures have been done to this image:
- slightly adjusted levels (ctrl+l)
- reduced the image by about 5% in the width to thin the body
- airbrushed the image
- finally color correction including white balance
If you do not know how to use some of these features look in the faq section of this forum or search for the feature in google.
Airbrushing is pretty easy to do:
- make a new layer above the image you want to brush
- make a selection of a certain part of the body
- select a midtone in the area
- using the paintbrush set the flow to 5-15% and the airbrush function on (button on options palette) and then paint on the new layer in the same direction of the contours of the body
- if needed use a layer mask on top of the brushed layer to blend the airbrushed parts in and making the body look smoothe
That is how I would do it, there are of course many ways to do things and no right or wrong method to use.
