Touch Tones and Conference Call

I have a BCM50 with a strange issue. Let's say I am on a call, then conference in a third call. The third call connects, but if I am asked to hit any buttons (i.e. press 1 for Eglish) the conference call breaks. I just hear a light buzzing sound. If I hit the line with the call, I can hear the further prompts, and I can even reconnect the conference, but I can't hit any touch tones. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have a BCM50 w/ T7316 phone set, and a PRI line.
