I have what should be a simple (total) but it doesn't work. I am trying to add a column of 5 for a total. I am using two databases in this report. Remedy, and Access. The count is being pulled from access. When I try to total the 5 specific records shown in my report. I am getting a total of the 700 + entries in the access database. I have tried assorted formulas Help Please !!!!!

Are these two tables a one-to-one relationship or a one-to-many relationship?
When you say the "count is being pulled from access" what do you mean? Are you querying data in access and then using that query as a data source in Crystal?
How are you "trying to add the 5 specific records"? Maybe you can cut and paste the formula?
