Hi
I am new to using Lotus Approach v.9.6. and created a database.I am having difficulty in showing totals referring to a field in a 3D bar chart. e.g. bar chart showing severity data High, Medium, Low and No Risk and want to show the figures on the bar chart as well.

High = 300
Medium= 250
Low = 100
No Risk = 50

The database is updated every day so therefore when you create the chart the bar chart relects the latest totals and shows the figures as well.

Any help with my problem would be much appreciated.

I don't think there's anything in Chart properties to do this.

You could experiment with using a report view containing a summary panel with the same summary option as the chart. Then you can copy and paste the chart into the report panel and will be able to display the Add Field dialog to superimpose calculated fields on the bars.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for your reply I have managed to solve the problem by creating a crosstab to show the figures and decided to scrap the bar chart.
