Totally new to SharePoint

Hello,
I was just looking for some tips on where to start, I have searched for hours on how to create a SharePoint website and can not find any sort of tutorials as to how to do it. I have installed moss 2007 and created a few web parts and so on. Now I want to try and design a basic internet facing website and cant find any info on it.

Does anyone have any links, tutorials, how-to's or anything?

First step is to create a "Website" using central site admin.

Once that is done from there it is purely IIS admin related work. MOSS does not have much to do with it...
