Totaling ??

Is it possible to do cascading totals or "totals within totals" (something like the nested/prompt within prompting) in MSTR? I have a custom total for sales by vendor on a report. I want to add another total for type of sale within the vendor category. I can't get this to work for the life of me!!

Sure. Just go to the Data menu -> Subtotals. Select Total from the listbox and click Advanced. Click the Across level option button. If you want the total of type of sale within the vendor category, then turn on the checkbox for type of sale.

That should be it!
