Totaling Report

I have no idea why, but I am getting #Error as a return on a text box that has a fomula of: =Sum(Total)

This text box is in my report footer and in the report details is a field called Total that shows all the totals in my database. All is in currency format.

What a I doing wrong?

Try using the same formula in the report footer that you used in the detail section to get Total. If the Detail section control used =Sum([field x]), then copy and paste this formula into the text box in report footer.

I would check to make sure the name of the text box is not also the name of the field. Change the text box name to something like:
txtSumTotal
