Totaling a Report

I working with a database of open invoices. I use the Select Expert to show customers who have either paid their invoices or we have written off for the week. At the report footer I have the sum of amount Paid in one column and amount Written Off in another. What I would like is to show the sum of all Open Invoices for the entire database next to the two other sums. Any ideas?
 
If all open invoices are't included in the data, then you might use a subreport which returns the number in a shared variable, which should be fairly efficient if you handle the record selection formula well, which in turn optimizes the SQL passed to the database.

You might also use Views or SP's to do this.
