Total Transfer to Another Sheet

How can a total in a cell from sheet 1 be automatically transferred to a cell in sheet 2? The total in the cell on Sheet 1 is the result of a formula but the total to transfer would be just the number resulting from the formula.

Select the cell on the other sheet that you want the total displayed.

Enter =

Select the sheet tab of the sheet containing the total.

Select the cell containing the total

Hit Enter

Click the sheet 1 tab
The sheet name will be added to the formula bar
For example, ='Sheet1'!
Click the cell that contains the total
