Total this page, not total this report.

I have a request to put a total of the page, not the report, on a report. I have a field called [Total] that I calculate the total at the end of groups and the report with the control source: =Sum([Total]). This works. But when I copy the text box to the page footer I get #Error as the result.

Can you total a page in Access Reports?

Just use a hidden control in the detail which does the sum on the detail. Place the 'repeaer' control in the (page) footer. Add a procedure to the page header (OnPrint?) and zero out the hidden control which soes the sum.
