Total the group footer totals?? 1

i have 3 groups. I am using 2 formulas on the footer of group footer 2.
One to calculate the excess hours
(Sum ({pe_leave.lv_days}, {pe_leave.lv_sdate}, "annually")-15)

and one to calculate the excess cost
({@Excess}*8*{@Costperday})

So, for 1999 excess hrs is 13 and excess cost is 20000.00
for 2000 excess hrs is 5 and excess cost is 8000.00

I need the
Total for employee is 18 and excess cost is 28000.00
I have tried the 3 part running total formula and it does not work. Any suggestions?

Gayle,
Declare two numeric variables and reset them both to zero in the Employee Header.

Accumulate the values in the Year footer into those variables.

Use the Variable Values in the Employee footer.
