Hello,
I am totally new to SharePoint and I am using 2007 with VS 2008. I went through the Hello World web part and it works fine. I do have one question though, where is the value stored? (say when you change text color to bluez) I thought it would be in the helloworld.xml in the C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\Web Server Extensions\12\template\helloworld\helloworld but it is not. So I assume it is stored in SQL somewhere but I have no idea which table.
Also does anyone know of a web part tutorial that accepts some sort of data that the user needs to put in to calculate something, just a tutorial a bit more advances then the hello world for SharePoint web parts.
Thanks
