Total column in report charts

I have created a report that has 4 charts from 4 queries.

I would like one of the chart's data table to add up the values from each row. Can this be incorporated?

I may not have explained myself very well.

I have a query that shows the value for each internal/ external job with a date field in aswell.

When I put this into a report as a chart I include a data table that shows the total for each month under Internal and External heading.

What I wondered is how can I get a grand total for a month which would mean adding External and Internal values together in the data table.

Hope that is a little clearer.

Any help would be good.
