Hello all,
My Toshiba Satellite 1805-S203 notebook at work has an annoying problem; if I walk away from it for awhile, it goes into standby, then the LCD shuts off to conserve power. Sometimes when I come back to work on it again, it becomes unresponsive to keystrokes and the screens slowly fades into white with several thin horizontal stripes across the screen. After a minute or two, it restarts itself and everything's ok. Clearly this is not normal behavior. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remedy the situation? Here's some info on the Toshiba:
OS: WinXP
HD: 14 GB
RAM 128 MB
CPU 800 MHz Celeron
Thanks
