Toshiba Satelite Pro 6000 Dead, NO POST

We have Toshiba Satelite Pro 6000

It stopped booting. NO post action

the user told me that he worked under low battery power.

can this be reason for laptop to go dead?

only the power leds light. I feel normal heat under the laptop.

I suspected CMOS Battery.But where is it?


Why you worry? Life is too short to worry.

Take out the CDROM, battery and any other peripherals - see if it won't boot then. I would doubt that the CMOS battery has died a death - though I could be wrong. But this link may help..
