Does anyone know were I can find a Toshiba Strata user forum?

Strata...LOL!

For your sake I hope it's new enough that you don't have to go out and buy a wire wrap tool!

I am a Nortel and Partner man myself. It is a big system so I am trying to see what I am getting myself into first before I provide service for this customer.

What issues have you heard about with these systems?

The last Toshibas we installed were DK 280's. It's been a while. We moved to Norstars because we couldn't get technical assistance from them without promising them our firstborn.

They were pretty stable, but were a monster to program. I still have a few manuals sitting around collecting dust.

I remember moving a DK96 once..........what a dino.....and a wire wrap tool?......ha ha ha.

It is probably the DK280. This was installed about 3 years ago. Has a PRI and about 60 extensions.

It looks just like this one on eBay but has two cabinets stacked one on top of the other.

They have gone thru several vendors for one reason or another. They were referred to me cause they are frustrated with service they were getting. The office staff has changed hands many times so they have forgotten passwords etc. and they are looking to do the following:

Add more wired es tensions
Change their AA routing
Add More lines via a PRI

I have programmed small 4 station Toshiba Stratas before and it was mind numbing.

Any good docs out there to use?

Yes believe it or not, you actually had to manually strap the ringing on those early Stratas with a wire wrap tool!
