Hello All,

I'm a former BCM 400 guy but recently started a new job where they have a Toshiba CTX670 with an iES32 Voicemail Card. The problem I'm having is regarding "Night Transfer". As of right now, the receptionist press Night transfer Mode 3 when she leaves at night and in the morning "Night Transfer Mode 1. At lunch she presses "Night Transfer button Mode 2". My problem is when she leaves the phone at "Night Transfer Mode 3" incoming calls to the receptionist gets redirected to another extension. I want to be modify which extensions it gets transfer to but I can't find it on EManager. I've read about CoS and Day1 Day2 etc... but still can't figure out how to.

Any suggestions or maybe point me to the right direction?

Greatly aprociated!

Depends on your lines,
With CTX this could be done many ways.
Either Group CO Keys.
Phantum Keys.
Pooled line Keys.
Mutiple Call groups.
Or Hunt groups.

So first of all lets go to the trunk and work back from there.
If your using emanager, log in and go to the trunk tab.

-If your have ISDN Lines then look under DID, in there you will be greeted with a drop down menu. Hope fully you will only have the one incoming Line group. (You may wish to come to this in a while)
-Give it a few seconds to update, then you can list all the DIDs on this trunk group.
Once you find your correct number the box is structured with the various mode's. Look out for Audio Day1/Day2/Night and mark down there correct destination.
-Then we need to find what this destination is. If its a number carry one here. (If its left blank go to next step)
Check out under Station under Mutiple call groups. In there can you find your destination numbers?
If yes if you click on members you can add or remove users.
-If no destination in Night, it may be set to ring a key, either GCO/Phantum/Pooled line. If its this then the phones keys will be set to ring/no ring. You find the area I am talking about, under Stations/Station Assignments and then Keys.

Have a dealve here. These are all pointers and you may need to supply me more info to help.

The Tosh can be made to ring so many ways, without having more information its going to be hard for me to advice without confusing you even further.

Thanks ProviderReborn. I was able to modify the "multiple call groups" using Emanager. I also came across DNs. Sometimes the receptionist (ext 200) receive calls thru a DN 500 meaning that when the phone is ringing the button start flashing as well. This button has a key assigment of DN 500. I went to emanager and found 500 under phantom DN but i ca't find where to see how many extensions are connected to this phantom DN (500).

What do you think?

You can't really. you would need to go to station assignments and look under keys.
This will show any users that have this key programmed.

Ok then. Thank you much for all your help I really apreciated. I'll move on to setting IP Phones in my agency so hopefully it won't be hard.

I take it you have a BIPU/LIPU card in your system.
Enjoy. Actually not a bad solution once you get into the phones to program them/
