Hello Everyone,
Nortel guy here trying to work my way through a Toshiba, not on my own choice :-( Work is supposed to be sending me for training but of course I need to get things working now.
The CTX is setup with 4 POTS lines for incoming/outgoing line trunks. The system has no voice mail but the main trunk (line 1) has voice mail through the carrier. I was trying to setup a speed dial or a One Touch to automatically dial either the remote voice mail phone number or the numeric code to get into voice mail #55. When I program a button with #55 I get a fast busy. If I use the remote voice mail number 1-877-863-7724 it appears to connect after awhile and starts counting on the phone display as if it was connected but I do not hear anything. Any thoughts? or If you where or what I am doing wrong I would greatly appreciate your insight.
