I am a consultant for a company that has purchased Toshiba CTX system w/their MIPU-M1A interface unit for VoIP.
The company has a PIX firewall installed on their LAN and a data T1 incoming from the PSTN.
Toshiba states “Certification is required to receive Technical Support” and will not give any support to us because of this. This company has an ACD inside their LAN that does screen pops to their desktop and wants this to be incorporated into their PDA’s outside the LAN. This also have IP phones both soft and hard for home office users outside their LAN.
We have setup this BIPU card both outside the PIX and inside and is able to work within those segments/zones but cannot traverse the PIX.
Has anyone set this up or know what ports need to be opened on the PIX to traverse this deveice.
