I have a CPx with A14 BIOS and 256 MB of memory. When I boot up the CPx, I get a memory error, go to BIOS and the screen is locked up. If I switch to my 4 GB drive, the BIOS is ok and I can make changes if I want. I did not partion the Disk, could the disk be too big for the BIOS? Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

Harvey

You will probably find that you are correct about the drive being too big for the BIOS, but I have never heard of a drive locking the machine up unless it has a problem. It may be that you can find a BIOS update that will fix the large drive size.
