Good Day!

Is there any way to expand (add a cab or mod or something) so as to get a T1 hooked up to this box????

Please help! Thank you very much.

Cheers,
Andre =)

I think you mean a Toshiba 670.(at least that's what it is called in the US)
Yes, a T-1 can be installed in that system, but it would have to be done by an authorised Toshiba dealer. In addition to the T-1 card, there are port licenses that need to be purchased that can only be sold by an authorised dealer, pereferably the one who installed the system.

An external channel bank is always an option. Perhaps a bit crude, but effective.

Thank you very much! Ive just been given a little more specifics on this Toshiba. Its actually in CHINA, so it may be a china-based model. Here is the model info Ive just been given:

Strata CS CHSUB672P

Does that make sense to anyone?
Does that change anything, concerning T1 expansion?

Cheers,
Andre

China probably uses E1 (30 channels) instead of T1 (24 channels), but I don't know that. I do know they use A-Law encoding.

Good luck
