Hi guys,
I might be having a blonde moment here but my mind is a blank and BOL is not overly helpful.
SQL 2000. All out DB's have the torn page detection option set. If a torn page does occur and the detection option for a DB is set to on, what notification is given, or does it just write to the error log? I know doing a DBCC CHECKDB with PHYSICAL_ONLY will write it out, but that means I would have over 150 reports to scan on a daily basis. If a torn page occurs in the middle of the day, what would be the best way to get notification to myself and my fellow DBA's ASAP?
TIA,
M.
