Topology Service

I've been trying to set up a Symantec AV 10.1 server. I install the Symantec system center then install the AV server. When I try to go into the system center and try to unlock the group, it says
"An error occured while trying to connect to the Topology Service.
Make sure that it is properly installed."

I searched the Symantec knowledge base and found a solution to getting that error when you open the system center, but it didn't solve my problem. If anybody has any advice, please help me out.

What is the OS on the machine you are installing it on and what service pack level is it?

Windows 2k3 SP1

Might try uninstalling SSC, rebot, re-install SSC, reboot again and then see if it works.
