Hello,

I am currently facing an issue with chat on Avaya IPOCC, I have tested Openfire with Pidgin and it works fine.
I want to test the Webchatdialog internally but it shows error "Topic is not available for chatting" when i click "Start chat".
I used the Topic name(not Jabber ID) as stated on avaya documentation.

Please can anyone tell me what could be the issue?

Thanks in advance.

Are you logged in on the Topic?

You need to check the log files to see what it's complaining about.

Thanks it is working fine now.

The issue i am facing currently is with the SSL Certificate as it shows not secure when testing.

Where exactly do we import the SSL Certificate, is it on the website or Tomcat or Openfire?

Pls i need the steps to take to achieve this.

Thanks

You would need a valid certificate for IPOCC, but as long it's for testing it doesn't really matter.

Or are you considering taking Avayas example into production?

The issue is i don't even know how to go about importing the certificates exactly?

as customer is ready to go live on the chat but we don't want it to show as an unsecure site to customers chatting from website.

We are making use of "WebchatDialog

Pls how can we go about a importing a valid certificate?

as we are confused if it is to be imported to the Tomcat Folder or Website or Openfire(chatserver)

I will appreciate your response as we need to finish it up asap.

You import the certificate into IPOCC, through the web administration.

I just hope you aren't using the example web code for the chat.

Thanks.

We are using the "WebchatDialog" Example HTML Code.

is there a problem with it?

Please we have an issue with the Web Administration, is it possible to reset the password?

I can login as "administrator" on IPOCC User Interface application but can't login using same Administrator password on IPOCC Web Administration.

Do you have any idea of resetting the password?
