I have an AIX 4.3.3 system with a version of topas compiled for AIX 4.2. Unfortunately I'm not allowed to updater either.
For many years topas has run perfectly but recently it always displays the same non changing process data. Whereas this data might have been correct once it is now obviously out of date. All the other measures (disk use, memory, etc, are working fine) This has persisted for at least a week now.

I've tried googling but can't find any answers - has anyone here any ideas?

Hi,

I've seen this long ago on a similar ancient system. I think it was a "hanging" shared memory segment.
