How do I add a new line to the ToolTipText property? Currently my text displays only on one line and all of the text is not visible.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Hi!

Go to the spot where you want the new line to start and press Shift-Enter

Hi again!

What program are you working in? I just did this in A2k and it works fine. What happens when you try it in your program?

I'm using VB6. Under the properties for my label ToolTipText I have the following text:

This option will allow polling of the selected direcroy. EDI Eligibility Benefit Inquiry and Respone (270/271) processing will automatically begin once a file is detected in the directory.

I would like this to be displayed on three lines instead of one line. I have also tried setting the property in my code as well but I get the same results.

Hi!

In code you should be able to add the vbCrLf character to the text:

"Some text" & vbCrLf & "etc."

I don't know if you can do the same in the property sheet. I'm certainly more familiar with VBA than VB6 so I hope this helps. Tek-Tips also has a VB6 forum and you may be able to get better answers there.
