Tooltips?

This may be a stupid question, but... Is there a way to show a tooltip when the cursor is over a flash button? Thanks. Ben

what do you mean by tool tips..maybe "alt text"?

I'm a beginner, so please bear with me. I guess what I'm talking about is like in MS Word, when you place your cursor over a button, it shows a description of the button. Is that what "alt text" does? Thanks Ben

Sorry, I was making this way too hard. I figured it out. I just put the text in the "over" state of the button. Voila! I'll try not to over think things next time. Thanks for the help. Ben

yes that is called alt text..if you look in the faq section davdesign has a pretty simple fla that shows how to create some real alt text..just placing it in the over state of the button sometimes will not suffice..so if ya want another alternative have a look at this:
