Tooltip for Custom Button

I thought I could enter my own descriptive tooltip for a custom Word toolbar button by simply selecting Tools > Customize and then right clicking the button and entering the short description in the Name field. However, it just defaults to the name of the module. And, changing the module name, although that works, causes other modules to fail as they can find the renamed module. I must be missing something here - can someone refresh my memory on how to create the tolltip.
