Hello,

I have installed several SCO Unixware 7 systems and about 50% of the time I get the following error. This error appears when I try to logout or do anything with the GUI. Command line seems to work fine. Usually everything works fine for a while after an install, then this shows up.

TT_ERR_NO_MATCH NoHandler Coule Be Found For This Message.

Is there a fix for this. Am I doing something wrong during the installation.

It sounds like you may be running out of resources - perhaps file handles.

Have you enabled sar and looked at several sar reports? Have you checked the /var/adm/syslog and /var/adm/locks/osmlog files to see whats complaining?

If you are not familiar with sar output, try a product call SarCheck ( - it digests sar reports and produces recommendations in plain english. Pat Welch, UBB Computer Services

Thanks Pat for your post. Unfortunantly sarcheck for Unixware 7 has been discontinued due to lack of interest. I'll check out the logs as you suggest.

Also I forgot to include the last part of the error. The entire error message is:

TT_ERR_NO_MATCH No handler could be found for this message and the disposition was not queue or start.
