Hi,

One of services seems unstable and always stop suddently on Windows Server, I don't want to always check the status on the screen. How can I find the tools to monitor the service status on windows server.

You could easily monitor with WMI.

Something like this?

NotifySvcFailure.vbs
Sends an email if a service fails. Must be configured as the option to run in the Services applet on the Recovery tab. Select the option of Run a Program and browse to the location of the script. This script requires modification. You must configure your SMTP server’s IP address, your domain name and the address you want the notice sent to.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
