We have a .pdf which was created from an outside company, and we would like to know what tools we need in order to edit this .pdf file. For instance, there's a table on a page with employee pictures and details. Acrobat won't allow me to add rows to this employee table. So, when an employee leaves or is added to the company, we need to update this table.

Thanks!

In all honesty, you're better off recreating teh table in a fully editable program. If it's just basic employee info a word processor like Word will do the trick just fine.

Pdfs are designed to be a final format, not one that is constantly editied. Acrobat pro allows some editing but its cumbersome and slow.

Pir Stop allows more editing but it's expensive and rather difficult for someone who doesn't use it every day.

You can actually open PDFs in Illustrator and edit some things, but typically it breaks the document into weird little pieces and it's a pain to deal with.

In the long run, if you plan to edit it on a regular basis, you'll be better off recreating the page from scratch, as JM said.
