tools in goldmine grayed out?!

i have a mate that needs to export his contact list from goldmine.

i've told him i'll have a look at it for him, but the tools option at the top (where export resides) is disabled

anyone know:

a. how i can enable it

or

b. if there is any other programs i can use to export the goldmine list

Log back in with a user who has MASTER's rights

There are some tools in there that you don't want just anyone using (like the import wizard and delete records wizard
