Hey everyone,

I have a report which can be viewed via report manager, which is great but the header/toolbar is showing and I want to hide it, i.e. I only want to see the returned data and not show the user export options or anything above.

I keep reading that "&rc:Toolbar = Flase" at the end of the URL will give me the result I require, unfortunately it does not.

Any suggestions?

What is the url that you are passing?

I'm sure it's just a typo but you have posted:

"&rc:Toolbar = Flase"

when of course it should be:

"&rc:Toolbar = False"

If the report takes parameters then a standard construction would be:

You're right it was a typo (in the forum post not the URL ;p)

I tried your suggestion but it does not work, although i'm sure what you have written is correct as everything else i read offers the same advice. I'm sure I'm just missing something.

I found another way of solving the issue though, I called the report via a reportviewer in "ASP.net web application" which allows you to hide the toolbar.

Thank you

Yes - the reportviewer control is very powerful and can do a lot with the toolbar but does take relatively longer to render than in an iframe (I presume that is what you were trying to do as you mention using ASP)

What is the report setup? Does it have parameters? If so do they have default values? If not, are you passing parameter values in the url?

You may also want to try &rc:parameters=false

I've found that sometimes toolbar works and sometimes parameters works (and sometimes they both work!!)

What I was trying to do, and have now done, was have several reports which presented via a webpage one after the other. I was going to present the data via an Iframe but settled on the reportviewer as the toobar=false would not work.

The report does not have parameters, however i did try &rc:parameters=false on another report to see the result and parameters still show, so does the toolbar.

I know you've got around the issue but am intrigued as to why it will not work for you....

Are you referencing the report using the reportserver syntax?

Can you post your url (feel free to masx any sensitive names)?

Hey,

I don't mind working on the issue as it is likely to come up again as time goes on :D

I started with:

I tried, as per you're suggestions:
= False
(had no parameters)
and

(had parameters)

Ok - think I know your issue then - you need to reference the reportserver...

Rather than :
= False

Try:

= False

the Reports/Pages/Report.aspx syntax is not the same as using the servername/reportserver? syntax
