I have a simple custom toolbar consisting of 9 command buttons. No matter where it's docked it becomes as long as the screen border. I'd like it to take up only the space it actually needs. What am I missing?

Thanks!!!

Jim

Jim,

This is the nature of a docked toolbar. It automatically sizes itself to the width or height of the client area. You can't recover any unused space within the toolbar for any other purpose. The only thing you can do is to dock another toolbar in that space.

That said, you can control the position of the buttons within the toolbar, but I'm not sure if that is what you are looking for.

Mike
