Hello - first post here :)

I've created a few simple toolbar buttons in Lotus Notes 6.5 that have really saved me lot of time (specific text formats, colors and switching to specific locations) so now I want to try something a bit more ambitious !

I want to be able to click a toolbar button while I have a journal document selected and have the following happen.

1) Copy as Document Link
2) Create a New To Do
3) Paste the Document Link into the description part of the ToDo with text saying "Journal Link is: "
4) Paste the Journal subject into the To Do subject

Is this possible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

A toolbar button has to be Formula language, but a Formula can launch an agent.
Given that an agent can be LotusScript, you certainly can do the task that you have assigned yourself - if you have the Designer client.
If you do, I would suggest designing the agent that does what you want. Once your agent works successfully, you can create your toolbar button and call it.

Pascal.

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.
