Toolbar and Imagelist problem

I've got an app I've been working on for several months. One form has a toolbar with an imaglist bound to it. Today I tried to change one of the images so I went to the toolbar properties and set ImageList to <none>. I added my button on my toolbar and put the new ico in the imagelist. Now when I try to set Imagelist back to <ImageList1> in the toolbar properties I can't. I can see it and select it, but when i press "Apply" it changes back to <none>.

I've deleted both the toolbar and imagelist and recreated but it still does the same thing. Any ideas?

I tried to add a new form to the current project and I also tried to start a new project and add the toolbar and the imagelist. I got the same results as described above. It's almost like it's a VB problem?

I fixed it. I was comparing files between another machine and my mscomctl.ocx file was out of date.

This MS update resolved the problem:
