One thing the tool does not take into accuont is the different DPIs used by different OSes, or by some OSes with different font-size settings.
Jeff has written a handy FAQ in the CSS forum to get around this: faq215-6624
Using the information in that FAQ would work quite nicely with the tool to counter any DPI differences.
