Hello. As the subject says. We have a HP-UX system that has had
half its memory go bad. What tool can I use (equivalent to
prtdiag in solaris) to diagnose which SIMMs are bad? Thank you
in advance.
You did't say what type of box you are running. On a C360 reboot the machine and stop the process at the IODC. Then go to the SERvice menu and check the Chassis Codes. According to my book the SIMMS error codes are in the $7000 group eg 7301 SIMM_0_Data_Error.
